At the beginning of the last century, Peerke, a farmer from Weert, ventured into the woods towards the border of Brabant and Limburg. He cleared a piece of land and built a house there.

He could not have known then that he was actually laying the foundation for “Peerkesbosch”, a small-scale group hotel run by former owners.

Like Peerke, who greatly appreciated the beauty of nature but also warmth and cosiness, Peerkesbosch aims to convey this homely atmosphere to its guests.

Peerkesbosch is located in a clearing in the middle of the nearly 1000 ha large Weerterbos, which, together with the Hugterheide, used to form the natural boundary between Brabant & Limburg. What once separated the Weerterbos and the Hugterheide, we now strive to unite in “Peerkesbosch”, the friendliness of the Brabander and the Limburger.

In our region, the Weerterbos is particularly known for its highly varied flora and fauna (roe deer, buzzards, falcons, and other birds of prey). The wild red deer and ponies can also be seen in this beautiful area. Because of all this, the Weerterbos offers you virtually unlimited opportunities for a breath of fresh air or for vigorous walks and/or cycling trips.

Gezellig, afgelegen en niet aan de openbare weg. Daardoor alleen bekend bij locals en voorbij fietsende touristen. Lekker eten.

Kan er heel gezellig zitten, grasveldje ziet er ook altijd strak uit.
