Boundless delicious delicacies

In Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog, they have no complaints about border tourists. Funny, because you can only see the border by the little flags on the house numbers or crosses on the pavement. Actually nothing exciting. If you really want to feel like you are abroad, you should go to the Baarles Specialiteitenhuis at Nieuwstraat 21 – 23.

The name may be somewhat misleading, because that’s where it gets truly exotic. The specialties you find there evoke images and flavours of holiday countries rather than any Baarle. Be careful, as the shop consists of two completely different parts. Although totally different… There is an important similarity: in both shops, it’s a struggle against the urge to indulge in everything and buy everything. Both shops are in many ways cross-border, but you will feel at home immediately.

Nog een echte speciaalzaak.... Lekkere kazen maar ook andere specialiteiten als zuidvruchten, wijnen en noten. Liever een snelle hap, ze hebben ook lekkere broodjes.

Beroemde baarlese zelfgemaakte eiersalade. Uitgebreide taken away belegde broodjes in verschillende soorten en maten. Uitgebreide kaassoorten en vleeswaren. Bijpassende wijnen en nootjes en andere delicatessen. Vriendelijke personeel.

Klantgericht, zeer uitgebreid assortiment van specialiteiten. Niets is hun te veel of te gek. Een vriendelijk team van medewerkers.
