Wim Aalbertsen has had a passion for creating the finest products such as bread, pastries and chocolate since he was young. As a 17-year-old boy, after obtaining his diploma, he started working for Hans and Marion van Leeuwen who had a lovely bakery on Kampweg in Doorn. In 1997, Wim and Gerrie Aalbertsen had the opportunity to take over the bakery and seized it with both hands. On 1 October 1997, Bakkerij van Leeuwen, Wim Aalbertsen Brood & Banket was established.

With great passion for the trade, Wim, together with his colleagues in the bakery, ensures that the shop is filled every day with the finest and tastiest products. After running the bakery in Doorn for 10 years, Wim and Gerrie opened a second shop in Amerongen. Now, a few years later, bakkerij Aalbertsen has no less than 5 shops spread across the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

On 1 January 2021, both sons, Jeroen and Joris Aalbertsen, became co-owners of the company. Together, they ensure that all shops are stocked with beautiful, delicious and fresh products.<br><br>In October 2022, bakkerij Aalbertsen celebrated its 25th anniversary!

  Heerlijke ski taart !! We stonden vandaag in Doorn op goed geluk omdat we hadden gehoord dat hij daar zo lekker was. maar hij was uitverkocht, teleurgesteld liepen we naar buiten toen de verkoopster achter ons aan kwam rennen en ging rondbellen voor ons waar hij nog wel op voorraad was. Dat was zo lief ! We konden hem ophalen in Driebergen en hij is werkelijk goddelijk lekker !!
