About ’t Oliegeultje
’t Oliegeultje was established in the 1980s, named after a clever skipper who used a natural shipping channel to deliver oil and water to the Deltaworks. Since then, it has become a beloved spot for water sports enthusiasts and gourmets. The restaurant is part of the water sports association and is located directly by the water, providing a unique ambiance.

We hebben hier gisteren gegeten en waren positief verrast. Het restaurant zit op een mooie plek aan het water. Het zat eigenlijk helemaal vol, maar ze wisten toch nog een tafeltje voor ons te regelen. We kozen voor het driegangenmenu. Alles was goed op smaak en duidelijk vers bereid. Wel ging het allemaal vrij vlot – we stonden binnen een uur weer buiten. Een iets rustiger tempo tussen de gangen door had wat ons betreft ook gemogen, maar het voelde verder niet gehaast. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wat we wel opvallend vonden: we hadden van tevoren wat negatieve reviews gelezen, maar die ervaring hadden wij totaal niet. Voor ons was het gewoon een goede avond met lekker eten. Wat ons betreft een aanrader.

Vanavond heerlijk gegeten hier. Wat direct opvalt is de kwaliteit: eerlijke producten en echt lekker klaargemaakt. De prijzen zijn bovendien heel correct voor wat je krijgt. De bediening is supervriendelijk en werkt enorm vlot door. Wat we vooral waardeerden, was de aandacht voor ons verzoek: we hadden gevraagd om een plekje voor de kinderwagen en daar was bij aankomst speciaal rekening mee gehouden. Echt een topservice! Hoewel de zaak gezellig vol zat, is de akoestiek prima. Geen lawaai of geschreeuw, maar gewoon een fijne sfeer. Zeker een aanrader!

Ons favoriete restaurant heeft een nieuwe menukaart met shared dining profiel. Helaas was de verandering geen verbetering. Waarschijnlijk gericht op het verdienmodel , maar de gerechten smal doordat nu alles apart moet worden bijbesteld onder de noemer shared. Hopelijk wordt de menukaart weer snel opgeschaald naar het mooie concept wat ze eerst hadden. Fam. Coppejans.
